    Nardiello was one of my favourite players. It's a shame he left because I don't think it did his career any good. Yes he had decent spells with Bury and Rotherham but that move to QPR lost the momentum he was gaining at Championship Level. Had he stayed here one more season the 2007/8 squad was a better squad and fully fit from pre-season I think he'd have gone on to better things. We'll never know. I went to Bobby Hassell's testimonial and had my picture taken with him.

    I shook his hand when we all went on the pitch at Walsall - the last regular game of the season which we won 2-1 to qualify in 6th place for the playoffs. My hand was dripping with (his) sweat afterwards.... :eek::eek::eek:
