Not a thread about tyres. Every time we lose a manager the club go back to square one in terms of bedding a new bloke in, re-adjusting the players attitudes and understanding of what the new manager wants etc etc. Automatically on the back foot - again. That combined with the fact that its not always the case that a good manager will be appointed and we are now, because of the Duff debacle in a weaker position than we were last week. Totally dispiriting. Completely fed up with football.
I disagree slightly, in the sense that this time, it won't be all the way back yo square one. Duff took over a side with no confidence and with many of the best players wanting out. I don't see there being a mass exodus of players this summer, and the side will at least have spent 12 months together as a winning team. Any half decent coach should at least have us challenging for the top 6. A really good one will have us challenging the top 2. There isn't tons of work to be done, just tweaking of the current plan, and a few bodies through the door.
