This one really is a bit random - a few years back we did out our Kitchen using DIY Kitchens at South Kirkby. No complaints, they were great to deal with etc.

Had a quote for a bathroom today and they wanted twice as much for a carcass and door as we paid for the kitchen.

So, obvious question, any reason not to get the carcass and possibly even doors from the kitchen place?

I would imagine that bathroom units are made of a more moisture resistant material than kitchen units. Could well be wrong and spouting ball ox though.

By carcass do you mean for vanity unit. If so Have you tried online. I bought mine complete via ebay. (Literaly dozens to choose from) Ready built from plumbworld . Daft thing is at the time, much cheaper via ebay than their own site, exact same item.. I bought the Complete unit with wash basin though.

Good kitchens aren’t they? We got ours from them a couple of years ago and have been delighted with it.

No reason why you can’t use either a kitchen or bathoom if you get the vinyl coated ones (plastically feel).
If they are painted then they are more susceptible to the moisture as they don’t tend to be sealed but again should be OK.
Pure wooden ones would be a no.
Biggest issue using kitchen I would have thought is getting the size as they tend to be bigger than bathroom ones.
