    ...better than the HoC speakers that followed in her footsteps IMO. She stood no nonsense and always impartial in admonishing both sides of the house when they stepped out of line.

    I was shocked to find it was 20+ years since she stepped down as speaker. That's insane. The years just flash by these days.
