Just had a look on Bristol City's board OTIB. Read this and feel proud. https://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/210916-anyone-else-watching-barnsley/
Chelsea got lucky tonight, and they know it... we played well and competed well against them. They’ll certainly know they’ve played tonight, and we’ll get some decent offers for our players in that shop window... thanks mr shearer for pointing that out about 10 times...
Very proud as we didn’t look like the underdogs tonight and matched them well. Definitely puts our best players firmly in the shop window as repeated constantly!
Yes played well, but to be be a little critical we could’ve been less wasteful in the final third when in good positions. Take that into Sunday and could well get a result against Brentford
Reading those 2 message boards and comments from Bristol and sunderland fans, who, let's be fair haven't always been very graceful to us.... Makes you feel proud. Sometimes folks of other teams, do appreciate just how weve gone about it. Brilliant it is
Well done Chelsea. Hope they win it now. You could see the difference in the two teams. Kane panics and blasts wide. Brittain panics and hits it straight at only thing skirting whitewash. Chaplin aims through Adeboyejo's thighs. Only one winner there. Gutted tonight. Sumat to work with though because we had more time than we thought. Dee kay I thought how can anyone knock Schmidt?
to be expected really. managers are just as, if not more, ambitious than players. the owners also see our managers as every bit replaceable. there will be a hefty compo clause in his contract, and they'll feel confident they can just go out and get the next continental 'gegenpresser'
Maybe so. But it proves we are doing things right. What else can we ask for. Everything about the club at the minute, I feel proud of. Including how the board have been recently with transfer windows. I do feel they are getting it right. Shame we cant be in the ground cheering them on, never know, we could have just made that little difference tonight. How, I've no idea. We were brilliant. But you never know
We had ours chances but we had em wobbling. Kepa wanted to know how long left a few times I noticed. Dike came into it towards the end, he looks a hand full. We've played against better championship teams, and their cheapest buy is worth more than our entire squad. Little old battling Barnsley!
I agree about the vultures we're a good tackle, through ball, composed finish away from competing. That's not bias. It's fact. We'd have beaten Chelsea tonight with more composure. This system works.
It's not always pleasing on the eye, but like Shearer and Richards pointed out its effective and if done right is a real leveller against top opposition.
