    World Cup 2022: Alcohol sales banned at World Cup stadiums in Qatar

    Two days before the start of the tournament and they do a U turn!
    Note that the Corporate areas within the Stadia will still be served alcohol!!

    Hmm, maybe they thought along the lines of
    "We have no intention of breaking Islamic law by serving alcohol at the games, what can we do? people might not come...".
    "Yes that's a difficult one - I know why not tell everyone that there WILL be alcohol at the games then change our minds a couple of days before it starts, because by then all the punters will be committed to coming."
