There's no technical reason why you can't. It's a barcode system and the scanners are able to scan the barcode on your phone as easily as they can if it were printed out on paper. Better, dodgy printers and folded up bits of paper don't make for easy scanning. But if you rock up with a mobile phone and give it to some of our turnstile operators... I'd be interested as to the response you get. Try it, print a copy off as backup but try using the phone.
My printed ticket wouldn't scan last year so I asked the guy if he could scan my mobile, which he was more than happy to do. Whether they are all as accommodating - I couldn't answer
My brother normally prints his out - one match last season he forgot the printout - they scanned the ticket from his phone. Hope this helps
ive got a season ticket this year but printed at home last season for me and four mates, including once printing the same ticket twice so my mate couldnt get in. He had go to ticket office and sought it out as they wouldnt accept the ticket on my phone at turnstile.
Should be encouraging using your phone rather than printing imo- easy sustainability win for the club @YTBFC
