"I won't be able to show my children my homeland"
"I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point, and the things that they're going to miss is, well, everything you know"

What he means is he he can't do those things whilst we pay for it.
He's more than able to do all of those things if he picks up the bill, which he is still more than capable of doing.
    Poor hard done to bloke.

He isn't Charles' anyway. James Hewitt's his real Dad.

I find him no more objectionable than the rest of them, including his grandmother. Grasping leeches, good friends with Jimmy Savile.

Except he looks the absolute double of his grandad and it's kinda hard to be someone's son when that someone didn't meet your mother until you were old enough to talk

    What an absolute *beep*

I don't agree with him wanting the tax payer to fund his security but then I don't know what agreement he came to when he left the royal life and titles behind

Behave. Harry is the absolute image of Prince Philip and half of Diana’s family are ginger.

Hewitt didn’t meet Diana ‘til he was two or three either by all accounts.

    EDIT

I can see these points have already been made. But still true.

I actually feel for Harry. There’s a good lad in there somewhere. He used to come across much better than he does now. He never, even in privelege, acted too much like an over-indulged spoilt brat who expects everything his own way in every situation.

By pure coincidence he is married to someone who HAS always come across like that. She’s definitely not rubbing off on him and he’s not being controlled more by her than ‘the firm’ in the royal family ever did. Definitely not.

Does my head in, always the victim and being led around by his knob by Meghan Markel.
. Way I see it they didn’t want the Royal gig but still want the privileges , if he’s that worried he should put his own hand in his pocket and pay for his own security.
Also if he was serious about making up with his family it would only be the once and then they would be able to sort it for him.
Also thought it was ‘big ‘ of him to ‘forgive’ them being as it’s him that decided to bugger off and sell them out.

Told his employer to shove it up their tiara but still wants to go on the staff do.....Thing is he appears to genuinely not understand the public response.

What I think a lot of people have misunderstood is that Harry doesn't want the tax payer to fund his security. He is willing to fund it himself.
What he has asked for is access to armed security and access to the usual level of information the security forces use when protecting royals. Again, he is willing to fund that.

It’s not just ‘his employer’ though is it? It’s his dad/his wife’s father in law/his kids’ grandad who’s said Harry and his family cannot have access to proper security, even if he pays for it himself. Why would Charles not want his own son and his family to have protection? Especially when even the act of denying it itself puts them more at risk because it creates division.
