I was just looking at some of the footage on CNN of US police (Mis)treatment of some of the protestors and remembered the incident in Barnsley after the Wednesday game when a lad was struck hard on the head by a policeman. At least I think that's when it was. I recall reading subsequently that the officer had been suspended pending an investigation. Anyone know what the outcome was?
Still with IPCC, Covid making disciplinary hearings impossible. I know in other Home Office departments attendance meetings (Which occur following illness) aren't being held due to it being unprofessional and adds to stress of situation. Some Home Office managers like to issue warnings like confetti.
Im up for it !!! Let’s march on the town hall. .......... Make Barnsley Fans Lives Matter. Obviously if the lad that got clobbered was a Wednesday fan then he can just fook off.
Don’t hold your breath for too long, we’re still waiting on the miners strike inquiry and Orgreave in particular .
Individual cases are usually sorted within 6 months, provided there's ample corroborating evidence and witnesses.
Yes that’s true. And discrimination can come in various forms - Leeds and Sheffield clubs spending £££ billions they haven’t got - JUST so they can attract support from all over Yorkshire and maintain their label as big clubs. And FL are allowing them to get away with it.
Prior to covid I’m aware he was put on desk/office duties. Pending investigation. Not sure he was suspended unless at a later date. But definitely not straight away. Was told his family had received threats not long after the incident. On social media. Bang out of order if so.
