They've to fund building a squad for the Champions League in a couple of years though don't forget.......
Seems fair to me tbh, the public liability against their antiquated stands collapsing bust be err… massive!
Imagine the rush for 600 quid season tickets if they lose at Wembley to lil'ole Barnsley. Their price per game approx 30 pounds, mine in the Champ approx 10 pounds. Please let it happen !
Assuming their North Stand is equivalent of East Upper (I.e. Best seats in the house) would cost me, 17yo son and 15yo daughter £1,480 as opposed to the £650 ive just renewed for. Or £66 per game as opposed to £28. Bloody hell that's mental.
Got to get coffers built up with home fans. Reduced capacity for away fans. And no doubt sky high prices for pay on day.
The early bird prices ended in mid january. The next hike in February and this latest one May 15th. Thing is most would have bought in the early periods as they were definitely going up automatically. Wonder what the price will be after May 15th with em still in div 1 next season. Hopefully. (Don't think they'll get through the semi tbh.)
