I expect the majority on here will disagree ....as is the case when anyone tries to get positive about the current group of players.
    As background to this post......
    I understand the anger.
I understand that Daniel was much loved.
I realise that some are staying away and might not come back. Their choice.
I recognise that this place, like any other football forum, is a place where people disagree about tactics, players, managers etc.
I also recognise that we are in the age of the keyboard warrior where people post insults which they wouldn't dare speak out face to face.
However what I cannot understand is why, on this board, people want to insult this group of players. I know there are posters who maintain "it's not their fault" but there are others who constantly berate the squad with unjustified insults. For example, and this is just one, being called a foetus can"t be very motivating can it??
So, what I dont understand is why do you do it?
    Why?
What is it that motivates you to be so disrespectful and just fuckin rude about young lads who clearly are running their blood to water for the club??
It beggars belief, particularly after tonight when we were the better team.
I'll keep on saying it.....we need to be more patient with this group. There is some real quality in the squad.

I think foetus is just meant as a bit of gallows humour rather than a massive insult.

Good post, again, but I'd say that while you can see the qualities in a lot of these youngsters, they have been hung out to dry, by not having leaders on the pitch. We are a youth team playing in a mesters league. It is not a level playing field, and we are there to be taken, because teams know they will get 2-3 simple chances against us. Bristol had 3 & took 2. We made a sterling effort tonight to salvage a point, that we definitely deserved. We are still well adrift. I'd love to see these lads turn this around, but for the life of me I'm struggling to see how we can. Our best hope is to stay in touch & the board to realise we need some investment in January, that isn't another bunch of kids & us not selling Woodrow & Mowatt. From what I've seen thus far, i'm not holding my breath.

In terms of having a go at individuals, you won't have seen me being overly critical of any of them, as I can see every one is giving their all for the shirt.

Players that I had hoped to step up like Bahre & Thiam seem to be on gardening leave. It is a bit of a mess, however it is painted.

On the plus side, to come from 2 down today, was a spirited performance, but as Adam Murray said in the presser we need wins to get out of this. We can't draw our way to safety sadly, the maths don't add up.

Er... that in itself is rude.
As to your general point... people are just pissed off and are letting off steam. Better to do it on here than hit the mrs/husband/kid.....

I should have been a vicar!!!

Good performances getting draws against West Brom, Swansea and Bristol suggests there's plenty of ability and determination in the team. Clearly a bit soft defensively and inexperience at closing the game out from winning positions is what's cost the team maximum points. The table doesn't lie, but it doesn't tell you everything at this stage either.

This site (amongst others) are great ways for fans to get their feelings off their chests.
Opinions are never facts. These young lads are decent enough (imho)....i enjoyed last night. It was definately an "A" for effort and there are glimpses of decent players but they are way short at this level at the minute.
