This season I have been to more away games than I normally make and it has been a very enjoyable experience generally speaking. I was thinking about the wins we have had and one that sticks in my mind is the win at Southend in the League. Going down to 10 men was shrugged off and rather than protecting a one goal lead Daniel takes off a defensive midfielder and brings on young Jordan Green to run at them and cause lots of problems in their defence. I will remember the look of delight on his face as the ball came to him in front of an empty net. The 10 men out ran and out fought Southend and at the end of 90 minutes still looked up for it. My cousin who lives in the States and watched the game live couldn't believe the energy levels we showed that day - wanted to know what they were on. I think that performance epitomised our whole season's approach. One negative out of this promotion - it means I will have to travel to Loftus Road yet again safe in the knowledge that we will be beaten there. Or will we? Might next season be the one?
