    I’d have gone benson but I was thinking he wouldn’t be on the pitch - suppose we might sub him on as a ringer.

    He’s the only player to score a pen for us this season isn’t he?

    I'm honestly not confident as I perhaps should be with Phillips from that close range - 20 yards out, i'd be fine with. Forgot about Watters... Could be a good shout.

    Norwood should definitely be our designated penalty taker though. The most naturally gifted actual striker of the ball from that range imo

    He wouldn't be top of my list as his shots often lack power. Though he'd still be ahead of Cole, Kitchen and Cundy in my list.

    It’s quite interesting that Bolton have had zero penalties awarded against them this season. None.

    they’ve been awarded 8 and scored 7, which is the highest amount in the league.

    we have had some scandalous decisions made against us this season, let’s hope it corrects itself Friday night

    I think we’d have lots of good penalty takers. I’d trust any of the forwards, Kane, Connell, Phillips, Benson & Cadden.

    If we got to a shootout you’ve probably got Benson replacing Phillips in the match & the two forwards been replaced.

    Your probably looking at -

    5 from 6 options -
    Cadden
    Kane
    Connell
    Benson
    Then 2 of Cole / Norwood / Watters / Tedic.

    If Kane also gets subbed off for Thomas then I’d probably not fancy Thomas & go with the other 5.

    Don’t think Connell would last a full 90 plus extra time. Most likely be Russell on the pitch, which doesn’t fill me with confidence. In fact I’d be quite confident with Bobby Thomas & Andersen ahead of Russell
