    I think it should be drilled into players to get their money's worth when taking a penalty. The shoot out losses to Germany and Argentina were hard to take but at least the players struck the ball with conviction.

    It's the tippy tappy sh ite like the Portugal and Italy shoot out defeats that annoy me.

    Ban stuttered run ups and placement. Run up and leather it.

    Would’ve had more chance of making it 3 out of 3 if Southgate hadn’t thrown two players under the bus in the 120th minute and asked a kid that had hardly ever, if ever at all at the time, take the 5th pen.

    If they need penalties to beat Senegal minus their 2 best players then there’s something badly wrong. Should be a very comfortable evenings work.
