    I’m fairly sure the negotiations weren’t begun and ended before 10 on a Monday morning, so the CEO and manager in post will have had their say in this a while ago I’d guess.
    Just a guess, but at the end of the season I reckon Val would have had a list of all the players out on loan and decided which ones he wants a look at in the summer and which were surplus.
    The CEO would then look for opportunities and have the discussions w players and agents.

    Just seen where WBA's Rekeem Harper proposed move to Ipswich as been cancelled cos Val wants to look at him ..
