    It's wheelchair rugby but they used to call it murder ball cos they crash into each others wheelchairs. It's on C4 now.

    We played a game called murder ball at junior school. Two teams of about 30 kids each, two mats placed at opposite ends of the field, one ball. Get the ball on to the opposition mat to score, by any means possible. Absolute madness. Eventually it was banned after one lad was knocked unconscious. 1970 or thereabouts, so before health & safety assessments were invented.
