I have recently discovered this on Facebook and love it. It's about life at the top for some fans and some of non league teams are excellent as well in Europe teams at hospitality. . Now I'm a yorkshire man so don't waste the cash but love to see how the other clubs treat the fans. I have enjoyed the luxury Barnsley offered about 20 years ago ,but was wondering if its been improved since I last went.
Hearts have padded seats in the main stand. Though it was February when I went and I was so well wrapped up that it didn't really make a lot of difference! Leg room far more important for me - which is pretty awful in the Ponty.
Seats aren't that comfy at Oakwell. I'm surprised they don't offer STHs the chance to pay for some padding.
Many years ago they used to hire padded boards in the West Upper - until the Friday evening we were losing 1-5 to Donny and the cushions were being lobbed onto the pitch!
There are some randomly padded seats towards the back of the family stand. We ended up there v Bolton. Presume they are normally for family of players?
I wonder if they could hire seat cushions out on a match by match basis? Couple of quid a hire with a hefty £20 returnable deposit to ensure the lino doesn't get one to the back of the head when running past?
I'd just be happy with them sorting the sticky patch under ours. And it's not caused by excitement. Or old age.
Some of the prices are astronomical though- seemed to remember the one at Anfield in the new stand a bit steep to say the least
Padded at the Emirates as well - went in the North Bank at Higbury and they had padded seats. Probably my favourite ever ground
Yes I did. Looks like a price increase to £85+vat. I think we had a three course dinner and a Barnsley chop as the star of the show. Brian Howard was the player brought in for questioning. Happy days.
