There was a Barnsley supporter on saying that the Blackpool no 3 Husband had spit on Cole, causing him to react and get a yellow card. Did anyone see this? I remember the incident, but I assumed Cole had reacted to something Husband had said.

Cole's was an odd booking. I'm not sure what had happened, but the referee seemed to be letting it go. Husband got in his ear, so he booked him, then called Cole back and booked him too. He'd lost the plot long before then though.

If there's evidence to show the spitting then Husband should be facing a long suspension. Disgusting act is spitting at someone, do it on the streets and you should expect to be sparked out.

If its what he was booked for, then I don't think a retrospective ban can be apportioned.

If he was booked for something else, and the referee missed the spit (which seems likely) then I presume they can ban him.

Edit: just watched the incident back which led to Husband and Cole's booking, and it was completely separate to the spitting one, so my point above is largely irrelevant.
