Well it remains to be seen what we would have done in the Championship instead, had we won on the day and gone up. But if we had, and if Duff had stayed, and if Mads had stayed etc... I think we would have done much better than what the Fowls Fc are doing right now!.
Lot of 'ifs' there. Mads was never staying - he's playing in the Premier League. We'll never know if we would have done better because we didn't make it. But we sure as hell would have struggled to do worse.
Yeah I know DS, I'm making the point that we might just have been as bad as them. Unless/IF various things had happened and gone in our favour.
It’s impossible to say as our recruitment would’ve been different if we had a bigger budget. I’d have to assume Anderson would’ve left & that Connell would get the same illness that he has so I think it’s safe to say we would’ve been in a relegation scrap.
