29 tickets left in the 4 main blocks 2-5 there's probably 100 - 150 in total left including the 2 small slithers blocks 1 & 6. Like you said should be a cracking day there few and far between when you can enjoy a game knowing you're already going up!
Just single tickets now. It's a shame club didn't think demand through by having it in the East Stand. It's eliminated pay on the day by picking the wrong stand.
To be fair we've had four days to buy tickets and the club made it obvious from the start that pay on the day may not be available. If it was near sold out by thurs then fair enough, I can see the argument to move to a bigger stand. But it wasn't. Atmosphere will also be much better if were grouped together.
Viewing angles of the screens would be *****. And they’d need 4 of them for East Stand. North Stand would make more sense - extra 1,800 capacity over the Ponty, although not as many bars. However i reckon there’ll still be some pay on gate tomorrow.
Yup, gonna be a nightmare especially with drinks offers etc - unless they’ve got loads more staff on and a couple of pop-up bars? They did say they had planned this weeks ago in case it was needed......
Good turnout that for a beam back 4500 in ponty. 1200 in away end at Bristol sounds like a fair few in the home ends and heard a few places streaming it.
Wrong. As usual. There's a couple of hundred tickets left, for the day. So it won't be a sellout. It'll have been planned to perfection. Like a lot down at Oakwell. Enjoy your visit.
Hopefully a bit of common sense is applied. Cricket club I played for hosted a semi final a few years ago with good weather forecast so they knew it was going to be busy. They had a few bottle/can banks and charged £2 each eliminated the need to pour and charged a round figure to speed up the ques. Would be good to see something likes this tomorrow in the outside concours area wouldn’t need much setting up either.
Yup. I presume that some seats classed as sold have simply been pre-printed ready for sale tomorrow, hence not available.
It will be late in the day when the game is on and the sun will be getting lower. It would ruin the view of the screens if we were in the North Stand.
People always take the seating map too literally. Grey dots can mean sold, not released yet or unavailable.
Not wrong based on the information the club released via the map. We should look to updating the Eticketing map so it's got three different colours. One for sold, one for available and one for unavailable.
