    Main contributor to the loss. Add that to the fact that Newcastle closed us down for the most very quickly and gave us no time on the ball. So they need to work on the one touch passing on the training pitch to cut out the silly mistakes.

    Think we're missing an Anderson type player. Someone who looks up before they pass. Just gives them that second longer to think

    The problem with passing is two-fold.

    1st, we seem to misdirect passes too often. This has been pointed out in other threads and more expensive players (such as Newcastles) don't do that as much.
    2nd, we gave the ball away a lot last year too, BUT League One opposition maybe didn't react to this? Championship players are all over mis-placed passes like a rash.

    I'm sure Hecky and the players recognise this and are working their stripy little socks off to put it right. In Hecky we trust.
