I keep mulling this signing over in my head and I really cannot fathom it out. I mean, he must be fit because why would a club take him on loan if he was crocked? 100% an attitude problem, any other explanation doesn't make sense.
I can only conclude they're hardly paying any of his wages, so really no cost to them if he plays with the kids or trains on his own for the next18 months. either way, if as and when this Conway meeting does happen, that's one of the first questions on the sheet for me. how the fk does he justify going completely off script and signing this deal off. Still doesn't make sense though. I wouldn't even sign someone on loan on Football Manager in his mid-twenties to just play with the kids, waste of time. I reckon Conners doesn't like being turned down, so after missing out on Oulare last January he persisted in the summer without really thinking it through and expecting a Dike-type replacement. Still can't fathom the signing, you only have to look at how little game time he's had the last few years to set alarm bells ringing. I'd love to know what data Paul C based the signing on. Once you realise who the owner of Molenbeek is it’s not hard to work out that this is a deal of convenience. Nobody could have seen his 30 minute cameo and thought i’m bringing this boy in to our club.
I think you might be confusing that with the deal that cost us nothing to bring him over, but some ridiculous sell on fee was due to Standard Liege if he was a success. He's on a fair whack of a wage.
