OK ...So ....after all my rants about not renewing my annual iFollow subscription due to the abysmal service - pixelation freezes, lockups, black screen etc. albeit early in the season my ISP bandwidth was poor until the upgraded to 25Mb/s culminating in missing most of a match after the restart due to them erroneously terminating my account I am now having second thoughts. It is not merely the fact that we are (or should be) in the Championship next season, nor is it just down to the results over the last few games that ensured that we did not face the drop but more the way we played post lockdown. We may have lost to Leeds, had a turgid time trying to break down Forest and lost the plot against Luton but overall the talent on display from the 'kids' and the matches were entertaining. The last game in particular against Brentford where the build up passing and movement was a joy to behold I enjoyed regardless of the result albeit it was the HUGE 'cherry on top'. The 'kids' have grown up and Mads, Styles, Ludewig , Oduor, Simoes and that cameo from Wolfe when he came on against Brentford , not to mention Walton's performances, makes me optimistic that, with a tough year behind them, this young team can thrive in the Championship especially alongside some experienced players like Solbauer. I am however waiting to see how the transfer comings and goings transpires and if the owners recognise the problems they cause with their policies. OK so I am being a bit hypocritical (my wife has already 'extracted the urine', after I told her after having heard all my ranting that I might renew, but, notwithstanding the close season 'wheeler dealings', all the above may well override the frustration I get from IFollow's failings and renew.
Careful @Tekkytyke, U-turning is a slippery slope. Just ask Boris. You'll be campaigning to stop Brexit next.
Me rant?? don't know what you are talking about. Really I do like a good rant to liven up the day sometimes. EDIT! my wife just reminded me of my legendary rants whenever we used to visit UK flying into Stansted. She pointed out I usually started before we got as far as Duxford on the M11 and occasionally before we even got to the M11 depending on traffic, cones, roadworks etc. On one notable occasion though I (apparently) made it as far as the A14, although I don't remember that, I suspect must have been feeling unwell
