    FA dont really have a choice - been told players will be booked for wearing one - they were happy to pay a fine but cant have the entire team suspended

    **** FIFA. not sure the FA/FAW had a choice though when FIFA start threatening unprecedented sanctions like yellow cards for it. insanity.

    Why not? Fk it. Get the lot suspended and leave the tournament due to not having enough players. Bring the whole tournament into chaos. Make it news. Sometimes institutions need to have some b0llocks and actually stand against bigotry - not just say they are are.

    Call their bluff. Instead of just Kane wearing one, the whole team should do, if they come out again with them in the second half would they all be sent off? Think of the publicity, can't see FIFA or even Qatar wanting that.

    Absolute cowards. Who cares if the whole teams gets suspended, if they're stupid enough to enforce that it sends a message to the world that we value human beings over a sports competition in a backward-thinking nation who are only hosting it due to corruption.

    I wouldn't even think twice about it. Opportunity here to make a huge stand that could be history-defining. I wonder where David Beckham is right now? Probably on a Qatari yacht somewhere.

    the lot should. a picture of every one of them in the line up with the the armband on, with Southgate right there next to them. would be talked about many many years after this $hit show of a tournament has finished.

    The big mistake was made 12 years ago when FIFA awarded this WC to this shitti country in the first place. They have then compounded that mistake by kowtowing to them at every turn.
    What required now is for the Fa to get together with the equivalent heads of the other likeminded countries and tell spineless FIFA where they can get off.

    Fair play if Kane takes the yellow.

    An alternative would be to start the 3rd choice keeper as captain and then take them off after a minute - it would draw even more attention to the farce.

    That's what they should do. Have the whole team wear one and keep wearing and if they choose to book them all then we forfeit games for not being able to put out a team. Imagine the publicity taking a stand like that would make. Fifa would hate that bad publicity.
