Is the BBC are currently slagging off Boris (rightly or wrongly) and yet they are constantly cutting to their journalists OUTSIDE in public for no reason at all.
What the **** are they playing at?

BBC: Boris is a disgrace, he's letting people out. Let's slag him off. Isn't that right Laura Kúntsberg who is currently outside in London?
Knutsberg: yes that's right and Nicola sturgeon is even more annoyed at this. Don't you agree Sarah Smith outside in Glasgow?
Sarah Smith: yes it's just shocking. The mixed messages. We all need to stay at home. Bloody hell it's cold out here. Are you as cold outside in Cardiff Hywel Griffith?
Hywel Griffith: it's ******* freezing out here in public. He shouldn't be allowing it, it's a disgrace.

    Absolutely ludicrous

It is stupid, but just stupid.

It doesn't come even near the criticism that should be levelled at Boris et al.

That's a very good point - Never though of it.

It seems you have to work from home, unless you're a BBC reporter.

Are we 100% sure they’re not using a green screen? I’m not saying they are, but it would be quite doable these days. If they are, it’s a good one. Now that I think about it, the guys at sky seemed to teleport from outside Downing Street to the sky studios in the time it took Boris to talk.

I think the media, printed and broadcast, have been deplorable during this pandemic.

The one exception for me is parts of the radio. I listen to LBC all day and some of the night time shows and in general I think they have been pretty good. There have been a few exceptions over the last few weeks but in general I have found their coverage to have been a cut above other media outlets.

I’m sure they’re fine and my understanding is that they are not politically affiliated? I refuse to listen to a station that employs Farage the Fascist on a reported £500,000 a year though.

I did wonder that but you could hear background traffic noise in at least two of the locations which is really going the extra mile.
That and if it was green screen that imo is even worse. Its saying that they deliberately WANT people to think they're outside and are actively putting in effort to make people believe they are out for absolutely no reason

Don’t know what BBC you were watching but they weren’t slagging him off far from it

He's on for one hour a day through the week and two hours on Sunday; he doesn't define the station and his show is pretty good because like the others it's a about the quality of the caller and the debate they generate.

They aren't politically affiliated, that is what sets them aside. The hosts all have their own political leanings but it is the way they debate the callers and the way they frame topics that make it such a good station.

I’m sure I’d enjoy it. My opinion though is that Farage and his cronies have been stealing tax payer money for years by taking a salary and not doing their job, so I refuse to listen to a station where money for the ads I listen to are going to him.

That's entirely your prerogative but if current affairs and politics interests you it is the best station on air in my opinion. I can honestly say that even though I don't agree with all of the hosts politically I enjoy every show and there isn't a weak link on the station.

His job was to represent the UK. Something he failed to do. Purposely failed to do so that our standing in Europe was worse, to play into his agenda.

    But whatever.

He was elected as a UKIP, then Brexit Party candidate so you could argue that he did exactly what he was elected to do.
