The bottom six teams generated one point from tonight’s matches.

Another game lost and we are no worse off except against Sunderland.

Whichever wretched side manages to limp over the line to 21st will owe a humongous debt of gratitude to the crap beneath. It's funny in a maudlin way just how bad we've managed to be but still be in with a chance of stopping up.

As I've said before, it will be crapness that saves us. I sincerely hope that Bolton confirm that theory on Saturday.

We've lost the game but not lost ground. It doesn't matter about Sunderland - if we finish behind them we're down anyway. Still think we'll shade it.

I just can't see Sunderland getting out of it, they need too many snookers now. It's one from us, Bolton, Birmingham and Reading. Saturday will have a major bearing on who joins Sunderland and Burton.

Must win on Saturday. It’s as simple as that

Burton play Derby County at home and Sunderland are away at Reading,
whilst Birmingham travel across the city to play Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
If Burton and Sunderland both lose, they can only get to 41 and 42 points respectively.
To be certain of staying up, as previously said, I reckon we will need another seven
points. If we don't get three of those on Saturday, quite frankly, we don't deserve to
    stay up.!

Just realised, Sunderland and Burton still have to play each other. They are both as good as down.!
If we beat Bolton, that could give us the mental edge over them on the run in. Birmingham and Reading
are the other two in the frame for me.
