Why the hell does his opinion count any more than anyone elses?

The archbishop of Canterbury is a man who has had countless paedophiles within his church under his watch. Why the f does his opinion mean anything?

I'm kinda disappointed Mr Welby that you lied about being in contact with a child abuser some years ago so don't come acting like a saint now.

Ah! Religion and politics, the two biggest killers known to man, both hiding behind a facade of respectability and integrity, whilst in reality both deal in fear and oppression.
I'm not having a pop at any particular political or religious faction, I regard each and every one of them with equal contempt.

Surely you’re aware that you live in a country where the church get a seat at the top table?

It’s the ‘joy’ of being a subject of a monarch who was chosen by god. She repays the favour by giving god some seats in Parliament.

Aren’t we lucky to live in a meritocracy.

Meanwhile; right wingers are running around complaining about ‘the liberal elite’ that are running the country. Genuinely you couldn’t make it up.
