    147,000 miles - still on original exhaust from new, still sounds sweet as a nut.</p>

    What car?

    My 406 has had a mid section replaced and a back box and thats it in 160k but that doesnt touch your original at 147k

    no reason why it should fall apart more than any other part really.</p>

    Treat it from the start and you'll get a decent life span out of it.</p>

    let it rot and it will fall to bits.</p>

    btw. had same exhaust on my lambretta for nearly 20 years, it is chromed though and not done a anywhere near 147k..more like 7..[​IMG] </p>
