    I've just been out on my 2 hour walk. I had my headphones plugged into my ipod. As i just climbed the steps to the back of Kendray Hospital and as I was gazing at Oakwell the track came on - 747 Strangers in the Night by Barnsley's very own mighty Saxon. I have about 3500 songs on the ipod and only about 3400 of these are by Saxon so the odds of this happening are quite remote. Only kidding, I only have about a dozen or so tracks by that band (I should get some more surely). I have taken this as a good omen for tonight, of course it might mean that we play like strangers in the night and get hammered.
    If it works I will have to get rid my tracks by Steps, S Club 7, and Atomic Kitten to make room for more Saxon tracks. That will be heartbreaking.

    I've just been on a 2 hour walk, Passed a bloke wi his Chelsea top on & a little terrier thing on the lead, he did virtually nothing to stop it from having a good owd snap & rag my trouser bottom, I thought to myself, that's what we're going to be like tonight.

    Wheels of steel is the very first album I bought. Havent listened to it for many a year but will stick 747 on now :)

    Stick Street Fighting Gang in your ears, if that doesn't perk you up nothing will. Hope we play with the same energy as that song. I'd love to hear the reds coming out to that.
