    I can see some reasoning behind shortlisting it, but at the same time it feels like the club are imposing their view on the fans. Who shortlisted those players? Why did they shortlist those players? What was the criteria for shortlisting those players and not including others?

    If you're going to shortlist, be open about how it was done.

    This contrasts somewhat to the end of season one where just about every player was listed if I remember right, even ones who under past seasons in years gone by, wouldn't have amounted enough performances (think McBurnie fell into this category too).
