Request/suggestion for whitey or anyone else who does the website and stuff. Would be a good idea to put prices on that article as well as shown the different options available?
Request/suggestion - can someone please proof-read articles before they are posted? Once again there are numerous errors to be found (American spelling of favourite, extra spaces between words, a missing apostrophe, 'For more information you contact a member of the commercial team...' etc.) It also says we have a big screen
Thank you to whoever saw this and corrected the errors. The 4th bullet point is still missing its apostrophe though.
I've noticed your little digs on here and on Facebook towards Jam Drop. What the f*ck is your problem?
Depending on what you are selling it isn't always the best approach put a price on the web. There are all sorts of reason why you might not do that. I'm not saying they have made this conscious decision in this case but I could see why they might. For instance, if you are genuinely interested in sponsoring a shirt you would contact them and ask them how much, right? At this point, they have captured your details and segmented you as someone who is interested in shirt sponsorship. It also allows them to have a conversation with you about it, potentially upsell, cross-sell other sponsorships or even negotiate with you if its out of your budget. They can go back to you with a reduced price if the sponsorships aren't sold or they could even price based on demand. When next season comes along they can approach you again. (I know that they do this to some extent)
They're some excellent reasons and I really didn't think of any of them. If it was a conscious decision not to include the pricing details then perhaps a compromise could be to have a 'with prices starting from just xxx' line or something which would still allow them to have the conversation I'd imagine. But of course that's up to them if they've made a deliberate decision then they've done so for a reason. I'm glad that the article mentions that the sponsors name will be on the scoreboard, the more things you can get for your money the more attractive it will be
