Not Collins’ words but the write up here states “The Reds controlled proceedings for the majority of the affair” - are they trying to gaslight us here?

First half we played well but hardly controlled the game, it was very even and it could easily have been 2-0 to either side at half time. I commented as much from my seat on the match thread. They had as much of the game as we did first half and all of it the second - at what point did “The Reds control proceedings” - we had a few great spells first half but nothing like the majority of the time.

Who are they trying to kid? And why?

    We saw the game.

Don't think we controlled the game at any point. That's not say we didn't play well in patches because we did and we were incredibly unfortunate not to have gone ahead in the first half on a couple of occasions. But they had just as good chances and can consider themselves just as unfortunate not to have scored in that first half.

Second half started pretty much the same with the balance shifting from one team to another. But we tired, they didn't and the result was a fair one.

Agree that there's nothing to be taken from claiming we controlled proceedings because we quite clearly didn't.

I don't think we tired, we were just afraid to get out of our own half until we were 2-1 down. We managed to get forward and attack when we had to later on in the match, so I don't see us defending deep due to tiredness.

Another thing I liked about Duff was that he called the game completely as I saw it.

This wasn’t the game I saw Neil, sorry.
