MIDDLESBROUGH AWAY PREVIEW Match Previews The Reds will be looking for repeat success on Teesside this weekend in order to kick-start their Sky Bet Championship campaign. Continue reading on the official site...
Can't see how the EFL cup win against Boro', can motivate us to repeat the same outcome in Saturday's game. It's an entirely different scenario. If we fail to score yet again, it could be time for us to start to get really concerned. I honestly feel that whatever his current shortcomings, we have to play Woodrow. He's the most reliable player we have on our books when it comes to hitting the target. Forget playing him in a deep lying position. Put him bang slap in the middle of the park and instruct him to patrol the area just in front of the D, in the hope that our midfielders and wide players can ping the ball into the middle to enable him to get back on track goal wise. If by the time the window closes, we've failed to recruit a couple of forwards with proven track records of scoring goals at whatever level they are currently operating at, I will for one really start to worry over our ability to survive in the Championship.
Colin won’t have them roll over to get there bellies tickled again. I can see him picking a team of giant bullies and trying to push us off our game.
His team will be stronger than last time out that's for sure....and to be brutally honest all though it pains me to say it......I've seen nothing that inspires me within our mob that says anything but a 2 nil defeat.... I also reckon its Strubers last game in charge giving the new bloke who ever he is a couple of weeks grace to get to know the boys during the international break
I think Warnock 'll have higher aspirations than worrying how the brothel knock a door run floppy c ocks will line up. I'm going for a routine "you can stick your Chelsea up your arse 2-0".
