I don't in any way condone anti-social behaviour and have been appalled and sometimes ashamed at the behaviour of some of our fans, particularly at some away games. But is anyone else wondering about whether / how additional stewarding / policing might be applied to restrict anti-ownership protests which I expect to grow in the coming weeks and months? Maybe I'm seeing a conspiracy where there isn't one though.
Tbf there has been quite a bit of anti social behaviour, not just by Barnsley fans this season so banning orders need to be applied by all clubs to clamp down on it. We'll done BFC.
You're right Helen. I challenged myself on my post immediately after posting it! Sadly I think it's a reflection of my cynicism and the lack of trust I have in messaging from the club atm.
The footage I saw of some of the behaviour of our fans over the weekend was pretty grim. I can understand your thought process but I think this is legitimate. And warranted.
I don't think so. They wouldn't bother mentioning it if that was the case. Actually speaking of police. When's the last time anyone saw any at Oakwell?
How many? I've seen loads of stewards but no police. When it all kicked off at the Bournemouth game it was stewards who went running without a police officer in sight
Joseph Laumann not be coming back again then.. Worst trouble I've seen in years at Barnsley as involved him... Twice
Yeah he's very anti social as shown against Stoke and not learned his lesson to repeat it against Cardiff. It's alright people being given banning orders for acting wrongly but what about hiring a first team coach who's done it multiple times.
That's a very valid point.we very correctly ban supporters when they act violently but all club's turn a blind eye when an employee does it
