Cauley certainly had a poor game. One of his worst in a red shirt. ( He will know that himself btw)
But the thing that struck me. Was the substitution. I thought Cole was our most effective striker during the first half. Yet got subbed when it was plain for all to see. That Cauley was struggling all afternoon.
Relieve him of the Captaincy. The weight on his shoulders seems to have an effect. Especially given results.

Cauley once again having a go at the fans in a tweet ,
Saying it’s ok fans getting behind us when things are good etc but when they’re not .
If the players give the fans something to cheer or encourage Cauley they get behind you win lose or Draw but if some players think performances like that yesterday was worthy of backing then they must think were fools IMO .
Barnsley fans always will always have backed tryers whether good enough or not but we won’t stand for capitulation.
