Any reason why this couldn't have been rearranged for Saturday 6th January, when neither club has a game due to being out of the FA Cup? Why make life more difficult for supporters of both sides by having it midweek?

25 days between now and 6th Jan is not exactly short notice either

Edit: I'm an idiot, Carlisle do have a fixture on that date

We should have been playing Oxford but they are involved in the fa cup

Thanks for that, I hadn't even looked at their fixture list up to that date, only if they were out of the cup!

As expected, as a long distance ST holder with a job although I could make the original Saturday date and had planned to go I cant make a Tuesday night without time off work and an overnight stay so thats now 3 Saturdays I have lost so far this season. Its very frustrating.

If I were a goalkeeper I'd be questioning those goalposts.
Has this not been picked up on before?

Surely if Carlisle draw at Exeter in the cup on 6th January any replay would clash with this rearranged game?

TBF, it will give us a better chance of winning at home if we play their U-21s...

They took 1,997 to Blackpool at the weekend, so whilst they will still bring plenty to us, it will cost us not playing one of the best away followings we will see all season on an afternoon.
