    Good to see Archer back in the squad for 3 match series ( which I thought was a test series … doh !! )
    Wood and Root rested but Brook brought back in for ODI’s

    We're not playing much test cricket before the Ashes are we? Three tests. I'd rather try and win Ashes than 50 over World Cup. It would have been nice to have a look at some other players in the test arena such as Curran, Lawrence, Jennings, Hameed. Maybe even see is Burns has got his mojo back.

    Have the lions got a tour?

    I don’t think they have …. certainly haven’t read about one.
    Nothing against Ireland but we’ve squeezed a test in against them as a practice game before the Ashes.
    Why not make the NZ series into 3 ?

    I think maybe 2 or 3 of the players you mention will have a chance of making the Ashes squad depending on their County form in Spring /early June
