Heading to Scarborough for a long weekend, 18th September, daughters birthday. Haven't been since a day trip with Woolley miners welfare, probably late 60s.Would appreciate any recommendations regards places to eat, drink have fun. (dog friendly places particularly helpful).
Turks Head pub was great, quite cheap as well. The Golden ball is ok, bit expensive for a Sam's pub minst.
https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...Scarborough_District_North_Yorkshire_Eng.html Massive homemade cakes that are made by the brilliant owner and he's always about. Lovely food especially the homemade shepherds pie covered in cheese. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...borough_District_North_Yorkshire_England.html Incredible food and great service again. Favourite dish is their pasta with bacon and peas. They have a takeaway homemade chocolate counter as well. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...borough_District_North_Yorkshire_England.html My favourite chippy anywhere. Legit the best fish and chips I have ever had. Clean fish, golden batter and golden crispy chips. They do a foot long hot dog and gorgeous burgers and scampi. They have a new one on the sea front but this one a few miles out is a old pub so got a couple of floors and you can get a beer and it's quieter.
