It's remarkable, how much football clubs rely upon - even expect - blind faith and support. Personally think it's verging on arrogant. Relegated, no manager, increased prices, no statement of intent whatsoever from the owners and a list of released players. I've seen little to no incentive from the Club to convince me we're heading in the right direction.
Does seem strange that not only do they stay silent, do a price increase and get shut of the May category they also want you to keep your season pass seat before they have even got in a new head coach.
Don't see the Head Coach, or lack of, bothered me. Was not particularly enamoured by the appointments of most of our past Managers/Head Coaches, but still bought a season ticket. You see, if you had supported through the 60s and 70s, we never bothered who the Manager was as we only had three until the advent of Alan Clarke. the football was dire.
If we get this appointment wrong with another Morais type move and we are subjected to another abject season I fear attendances and mainly season ticket sales will take a hit the following the season. It might not matter to you but it will to a lot of people.
