Not great that. But we've been worse!

We were organised. We didn't lack effort. The boys really tried to win tonight.

But we lacked a bit of quality in midfield - Baker for Stoke looked a much better player than all of our lads. The only player I'd say struggled was Kitching on the ball. He's a decent defender but with the ball at his feet he just seemed to have no touch or composure.

Quina nearly won the game for us with that outrageous goal - it deserved to be the winner.

Did we defend too deep at the end? Possibly. But I think we'd have held on if:
a, Morris had still been up top rather than defending on the right - he got skinned a couple of times after he moved there. Not sure why we did that.
b, Cole had just put his foot through that at the end! I don't know what he was thinking, trying to drag it back around the attacked. All that effort wasted by that moment. It's what we were doing lots of earlier in the season - every touch with the outside of the foot! A poor moment from Devante. We need Iseka, Victor and Woodrow back.

I am more than happy with that result.... we can still have a good chance of staying up.

I thought Kitchen had a reasonable game once we got through the first 20 minutes

Kitching is a good defender. Completely clueless when trying to attack despite getting into some decent positions.

Thought kitching had a storming second half and was one of our better attacking players absolutely gutted we didn’t hang on for the win

This shows just how much the standards and expectations have fallen. I thought it was a terrible game of football and we didn't deserve anything from it.

I know everyone seems to be bashing Cole....

But can everyone just watch that God awful clearance attempt first.

The ball should have been way in their half or in row z.

Not anywhere near Cole facing our goal for a 50/50 challenge

Fulham only got 5 at Swansea tonight so we should give them a game. Now that`s sarcasm.

    My view too.

Stoke hit the post twice, Maja missed a very good chance, they put a free header wide and numerous crosses that looked possible to convert, not to mention several Collins pawed into the centre of the box but thankfully not to a green shirt.

    If we’d lost by a 3 or 4 goal margin I couldn’t complain.

I think it’s just a snapshot of where we are. Also where we are under any other owners. Penniless. We are now a League One team. If people don’t like that, they can stop supporting us. I’ll still be there.

IMO Kitching should never wear a Barnsley shirt again absolutely diabolical it’s seems every pass goes out of play he’d be more suited playing Rugby Union kicking to touch, and don’t get me started on Brittian

It was only a 50/50 because he made it into one.
