Is this just for people buying an adult ticket i.e. Non- Season Ticket holders?

Just tried to order one, but no joy. Computer says no.

Just think it's odd they'd encourage kids into the ground, but not if they're coming with a ST holder.

The idea is to put bums on seats and put some cash into the coffers which obviously means “ buying” an adult ticket . Think it’ll be all academic anyway cost can’t see the game going ahead tbh

Right, so no reward for being a ST holder then, and "introducing the next generation of fans"?

Whilst I see the income point, the ST holder has already committed their cash, and surely the point is to get more people through the door, into an empty stadium? As for "obviously" it is unclear on the website. A ST holder is a paying adult.

A ST holder is already benefiting from drastically reduced ticket prices if you look at the matchday average. Someone purchasing an adult ticket on the day is paying far more than the average and as such this makes for a very tempting incentive.

Yeah I get all that. I have absolutely no problem with non ST holders being enticed, even if it means they ultimately pay less. I just find it odd that the club doesn't extend the offer to try and fill the ground. (The Millwall offer is not appealing to me as a ST holder trying to encourage a friend of my daughter - worst possible game).

It’s each to their own but in recent years the Millwall away following at Oakwell has been dire. We have odious fans of our own, both home and away.

Yeah, there's odious, and then there's picking on women and children. Agree they probably won't bring many, but as someone who is trying to encourage a new female supporter to the ground, it's hardly the match to instill confidence is it?

Thought the millwall 'fans' had made this game their 'flag' day? That's why the kick-off has been brought forward. They took quite a few to rotherham when they designated that fixture as their day out the other season.

To be fair, if you are a season ticket holder, you can get a free season ticket for an under 12 & it can be used for 23 games not just one . I got one for my Grandson when he was 6 & first couple of years he only went to 3 or 4 games but as he got older , he went to more & more & now he is 15 , his ticket cost me £80 & he well & truly hooked , so that was down to the club showing initiative to get the next generation on board & it worked

Yep, that's how one of my daughters got hooked. Good work BFC. Just don't see why extending the offer on free tickets would harm the club?
Sell more stuff in the ground
Get more people in the ground

The bottom line is, my daughter's friend would have come, but now she won't because it's £10 to find out of her pocket money, and she won't come to Millwall game because she's not allowed (because of the opposition) . BFC could have hooked her, without any cost to the club, but it's not likely this year.

Yeah and because they never bring many to us, it's probably going to be their biggest ever away following to us. Especially if their current outside chance of the play off becomes more of a possibility.
