Watching on RAI Ireland are, sorry to say , dire. Make Barnsley look like World beaters. Cant get a foot on the ball and when they do they give straight back. Not one shot on goal and yards off the pace ...2nd to every ball. 2-0 down at half time ( second goal keepee beaten on his near post from 20 yards at an acute angle not exactly a net busting shot. We (Val) would have gone ballistic if either of our keepers had conceded that. There could be a lot more in to come in the 2nd half unless Italy take their foot off the gas.
