North/south divide with local lockdowns

    Will this make the north/south economic divide even worse? Pubs in NE allowed to stay open until 10pm but no doubt will see reduced trade, my daughter says it wont be worth going to them of an evening.

    It's so that NHS resources can be concentrated in the south east when hospital admissions start to rise there.
