It is true, it is poor, but thankfully a journo set up a go fund me page to get the £600 (as they have to pay VAT too) and last look it had sailed past £1500, so they’ll be at the game and broadcasting to the patients hopefully.
From what I’ve seen of the national league board recently they put the EFL to shame for ineptitude. about that play off game the premier league sent the national league 200k to help the clubs fund the play offs. They spent most of it hiring Wembley, despite the game being behind closed doors.
"Here you go, Stan, I've got just the thing to get you back on your feet again. Live coverage of the Notts County game.... Stan? Stan!" beep... beep...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee "NURSE!"
I’m not 100% certain but I think this is the case with the EFL as well throughout the leagues. Again, don’t quote me on this as I can’t remember if we actually did it last season (I’m sure we did) but the Trust paid for Barnsley Hospital’s license, or has for a number of years in the past.
