This isn’t a new player we’ve been linked with either!

Anyonw got a ninja air fryer? If so any good? Heard good brings about them, especially the minimal energy they use to cook meals, a like how you can sync the 2 compartments and whack just about anything in

I've got one, not the dual compartment one, just the big single one. I love it, it's great - cheaper and better than the oven.

It roasts a chicken amazingly well

I've got a dual zone one, it's really good! Can cook different things at different times and as you say more energy efficient.

We’ve just got one of the maxi dual ones a couple of weeks ago.

The oven has only been on once since we got it.

It’s brilliant - and I say this having kicked off at the Mrs for ordering it saying it was a waste of £230. I was wrong.

Big question: how easy are they to clean? I’ve got a steamer I like but it’s such an arse to clean that it spends most of the year in the cupboard.

Just take the drawers out and hand wash them. Easy.

You can put the insert tray bits in the dishwasher (not the drawer itself), but we don’t bother, it’s all none stick and so wipe clean really.

Haven’t cooked anything massively wet/sticky in there thus far though. I might get some of the silicon inserts you can get.

It takes about 75% of the time it would in the oven, so not long. You need to shake the trays every so often for best results.

We got two, one has a double compartment and can cook pretty much anything the other is a single grill type thing for meat only.
Both seem to work really well and the oven now hardly gets used.
Cleaning for both is really easy.

We bought the large size 9 in 1 Ninja foodie which we have had for over a year based on our daughters recommendation. As for the dual Ninja some have mentioned it was not around when we bought our foodie.
However, there is a huge difference between the two . The Dual one is basically just an airfryer (basically a fan oven) and great though it is .. economical and fast compared to a conventional oven.. The 9 in 1 does so much more. For starters it comes with a pressure cooker lid. You can roast, bake, grill, steam, pressure cook, dehydrate foods like fruit etc., air crisp (they call it'Tendercrisp') , sauté and fry.
Typically, you Cook around 30-40C lower than a conventional oven and about 20C lower than a basic airfryer. It Is about 1.5Kw/h rather than 2.5-3Kw/h of a standard oven. Also many recipes you do not preheat and things Cook a lot quicker. Huge savings on Energy. Roast pork and roast potatoes are amazing. You pressure Cook the pork for 12 mins per 500g Natural vent for 10 minutes then drain the stock, oil, score and salt the crackling place on the lower rack with partboiled potatoes drizzled with oil underneath then set to roast at 190C for 15 mins then set to aircrisp for 15-20 mins ( or until crackling and roasts are crisp.
Marinated chicken wings take about 20 mins at tendercrisp setting at 180C. Crisp on outside and juicy insider.
Oh! And heating leftover pie or pizza slices takes about 7-10 mins no need to preheat they are like you have just cooked them fresh i.e. not dry or soggy.
Amazing piece of kit we rarely use the ordinary oven now.
Only down sides are ...It Is best for 1-3 people as although I have cooked whole duck and chickens, for something like Christmas dinner, e.g. Turkey you would need a full size oven. You do need space on the worktop as it is quite large and when using the pressure cooker, the fixed lid normally used has to be left raised and open so it may not fit easily under fitted kitchen cupboards. Well made piece of kit highly recommended.

    I've got an Instant Vortex.

5.7 litre capacity, so will do a small chicken. Takes a minute to pre-heat, cooks everything twice as fast as an oven. It's essentially a giant saucepan, so it's dead easy to clean.

Only thing letting it down is the handle is flimsy. Read the reviews before I bought it and there were quite a lot of 'I've broken the handle so now it's useless'. I thought, well a lot of people who wrote reviews are daft. 2 weeks later and I'm laid on the kitchen floor with half cooked chips next to my head, in a pool of my own tears because I've dropped the pan on the floor, and broken the handle.

It clipped back on, but keeps coming off when I wash it. Need to glue it now, which isn't ideal. So yeah, it could do with a sturdier handle. Otherwise, it's great.

You can do some of those functions in the dual zone as well as air fry. Mine you can air fry, roast, reheat, dehydrate...
