Wouldn't be surprised. Some Derby fans were thinking he would be sacked by the end of this month after they lost to us the other week.

I was surprised we were able to beat them relatively comfortably, but I still thought they looked a dangerous side at Oakwell. Watching that game last night I couldn't believe what I was seeing. They never looked to pose a real threat, and some players (Chris Martin, Tom Ince to name two) didn't look at the races. There is something seriously wrong with that team when you look at the talent they have. My guess is that they are playing with fear. Whether that is fear of Pearson or fear of failure, I don't know. They often say there's a 'curse' on unsuccessful playoff teams. It would be interesting to hear what Whitey knows of the dressing room atmosphere there, although probably unrealistic to expect him to breach a confidence - unless Jacob leaves.

I,d definitely try to sign Chris Martin probably out of our reach wages wise.

A lot of folk have Burton down as relegation certainty... not many will want to play there..

No chance we would get him mate. I don't rate Pearson at all either. That team on paper is brilliant, be really surprised if they don't go up this season
