Just like the other months where he went missing

His puppet master also appears to be in hiding with no appearance despite repeated attempts to get him to agree to a February meeting.

Utter contempt is how they treat supporters.

    Not a penny more

He was at a free to attend event at the Manx this week?

Without listening back, he said communicate monthly rather than a meeting a month didn’t he? Which he does through the match day programme.

You mean he popped into a local pub for a drink? Hardly the same thing. And if writing in the programme now counts then I'd say the goalposts have changed massively and that isn't how he, or you, spun it at the last meeting when you were counting the number of actual meetings to demonstrate the point. Now it's 'whitey wrote some words for him in the programme' as if that's the same thing. I don't believe for one second that that is what he meant when he said what he said or that it's what you thought he meant either.

What have I got to do with any of this? Don’t go calling me out on this and directing your tantrums towards me. Pick your fights elsewhere.

You were daft enough to post an answer to one of those threads that people like Supertyke only start when we've lost.

I hope I've upset both of you with this post (heh heh)

What have you got to do with it? Well it was during your q&a that he mentioned his monthly things, it was you who defended his monthly appearances after the q&a and it's you whos defended his record today. Had you not been the one to reply today defending him I wouldn't have mentioned you. Kinda hard to ignore mentioning you when it's literally you who replied to me though isnt it?

You aren't to blame for his lack of communication, I haven't attempted to say that you are in any way. However you replied to me defending his record so of course I'll reply to you mentioning you.

His programmes notes you always feel you've wasted a few minutes of your life to read them. He never mentions anything in them we want to know. He just waffles on.

The programme this year is the worst I ever remember it. Not sure if it's a deliberate ploy to kill it off or if it's just down to lack of funding and resources but it's really been terrible this season and feels a lot thinner than previously too with more ads.

No. You took a tone and attitude to my reply and directed things at me as if I was part of it or at fault.

You’re also repeating the word ‘defend’ or ‘defended’ and I haven’t defended anyone. You asked something/made a comment and I replied. Pointing out someone attended a supporter event only this week is a pretty useful bit of info to your opening post, no?

He also attended The Garrison event as well don’t forget. Again, just facts being presented not opinion. The same stance I took when pointing out the supporter events that had taken place last time.

You say he hasn’t stuck to his commitment for February. When it’s pointed out he has, you rubbish that event to keep your OP valid. But you don’t even want to attend any of these events anyway so does it really matter?

I don't believe that his commitment was popping into places for a drink or attending tykes TV live show simply to observe silently. It certainly wasn't how his claim of monthly meetings came across at your q&a and again I'll say that writing in the programme wasn't how you defended him after the q&a when you listed his official meetings as meeting the once monthly thing. That's not blaming you at all loko but it is pointing out why I think he hasn't stuck to it, I have to mention how you painted it because you was the one involved. It isn't criticism despite you thinking it is.

Ps no I don't want to attend the meetings. That doesn't mean I'm not allowed an opinion and doesn't mean I'm not allowed to be interested in what the CEO of the club I support has to say. You sound like a right ***** every time you take pot shots and stop me having an opinion if I'm not willing to attend meetings.

You point out a lack of meetings. I point out the facts of meetings that have taken place. You choose to call that me defending him, but it’s just pointing out facts. You then take the opinion certain events/meetings have more weight than others.

That’s fine, it’s your right to suggest that, but he’s hardly hiding is he when he’s so out in the open? Call out the Trust for not requesting a meeting in February.

You’re more than right to want to hear from the CEO. But it is interesting how angry you get online, and how much vitriol you direct at the club, only to admit you’ll never attend a meeting and ask your questions or put your view across in person. I don’t even know what insult you threw at me but I’m hardly coming across like that by pointing this out.

I don't write Khaled's notes, nor are we deliberately trying to kill off something that provides revenue directly back into our department.

Thank you for your feedback though. We'll be canvassing opinion on the programme at the end of the season and trying to gauge ideas, feelings in terms of how to move forward with it next season and beyond.

Sorry whitey I've just realised how that first part came across. I didn't meant literally wrote them. In fact I'm not sure what I meant.

Also wouldn't think it's the media team themselves trying to kill it off, rather the club as it's been mentioned a few times that readership is down and that some clubs are wanting shut of them.

When you canvass opinion may I suggest that you put a notice in the programme itself asking people for their opinion. I think quite a few programme readers don't necessarily pay attention to online media (which ironically completely contradicts the feedback I'll give).

I will (and can as I was there) give Khalid his dues for his 3-4 hours last week in The Manx. He was more than willing to talk to anyone in a non official Q&A occassion. Just mixed and watched the match on TV with fans and had general chats both BFC and otherwise. It wasn't either invite/ticket only.... he wanted to come and see the memorabilia on show etc. He's planning another visit soon. So fair play to him on that.

Not wanting to pick sides in a fight I don’t really have a dog in but I think meetings with the fans official reps constitutes communication which allows questioning etc not programme notes or a random visit to a pub.

I’ve stopped buying the programme recently as part of ‘not a penny more’ but do think it needs a rethink. Needs to be more of a hybrid programme / fanzine which can incorporate both direct communication and a bit of humour /fans views. Appreciate that is harder to put together and needs to be ‘family orientated’ but it would make it more relevant as does feel a bit staid. I once almost convinced JD of that as an idea but we buggered it up by getting promoted to the Prem.

I also saw it on Facebook and Twitter and I’m pretty sure you’d put it on here as an open invitation to whoever want to call in.

    Give over!

Getting rid of something that a number of fans (not myself) really value/enjoy and is a revenue stream for the club seems pretty stupid to me.

You should probably stick to bashing kitchen rather than offering business advice!
