Even Hemsy wouldn't have them pass across the pitch countless time, pass back to the 'keeper and repeat.
Needs a proper shake-up, stop picking anyone over 28, pick a few out of the Championship and actually pick players on form rather than reputation.
No one in the championship is good enough, if they were they'ed be in the Prem....Why over 28..if Your good enough.Experience counts for a lot..Just My opinion.
And the spine of the team would be Steele, Roberts, Hammill and Winnall. Obviously trying to convince Hourihane to switch to England.
Disagree entirely for many reasons 1. Some players turn down contracts. If Alfie Mawson had turned down Swansea by saying he was settled up north and wanted to raise his family here would that suddenly make him a poorer player? 2. Quite a few transfers are due to circumstances rather than purely being the best player. Adam Davies could be a cracking keeper but if nobody currently needs a keeper they aren't going to sign him, they're going to sign a left back that they need instead. Or west ham might look at him and go hmmm he's got 3 years left on his contract up there and Barnsley keep saying he's not for sale. Rob green is slightly slightly poorer than him but he's transfer listed and only has 6 months left on his contract so we'll sign him instead. 3. Form counts for a lot. A midfielder may be in the premiership because he was a world-beater and rightfully earned a contract but this season he's been absolutely awful and gets subbed every week. Conor hourihane is on fire at the moment but he is playing in the championship because it is his FORM that is better not his ability a few years ago. There are many reasons why a player currently playing better isn't in the premiership
