    The only good thing about our current position is we dont want or need to sell anyone. Anyone making bids today is either trying it on - in which case we will tell them to go away, or desperate in which case they may make silly offers.
    I am sure before we let Alfie go we knew we had a replacement lined up. We havent a second lined up for Roberts and now its far too late to line someone else up. Of course if Newcastle come back with a £20 million offer that does change things somewhat

    They missed the Mawson deal to have an idea what a goal scoring centre half goes for. If I was Roberts i'd be offended that Newcastle (based on transfer bid) think that i'm less than half as good as Alfie Mawson is.
