Not much point asking whether or not we want him out, as I think we're all on the same page now. Going to do a poll on whether or not we'll be in the championship next season. I've voted for no.

I’d have gone for stay up if he’s sacked today, but I can’t see him being sacked.

Doomed, and even worse, am not sure the owners give a toss. They’ll just sell as many as they can in the summer and we’ll have a team of kids having lumps kicked out of them in league 1 next season.

Even in last nights shower I saw enough to know with the right coaching, tactics, formation and subs this team could be comfortable midtable.

I like the middle option, but it would entirely depend on who came in to replace Schopp. It needs to be someone with the ability to put in an immediate fix and change the short-term mentality, whilst then planning how to use the January window to continue the process of getting away from a relegation battle.

Unfortunately, this requires that the January transfer dealings would be consistent with, and supportive of, the manager's plans and the prospect of this looks to be close to zero given the behind the scenes turmoil we're seeing from the ownership. I fully expect a transfer window of cashing out on players residual values before they diminish any further, so lots of outgoings with words to the effect of "transfer funds received will be reinvested fully into the squad."

I very much expect the same. I thought we should have sold one player in the summer, and expected that to be Helik while he was on the crest of a wave having being called up by Poland.

But the situation is now very different. Contracts running down, values diminishing, the market still suppressed and open hostility (and rightly so) towards the motives of our owners. I wouldn't be surprised to see a firesale and some of those proceeds paid to settle what they owe the Crynes if there is no sign of getting a lucrative top up on their purchase of the club.
